One of our ongoing commitments has been, not only to be involved in
the community in which we reside, but to be involved in programs and
organizations that are committed to tending to the physical and
spiritual needs of people. A portion of our ticket sales from every
production is donated to projects and organizations that do just that.
Likewise, individuals involved in Community Players are personally
involved in such organizations, and at times, work together on behalf of
Community Players to assist in reaching out to people. Below you will
find a list of organizations and activities Community Players has been
involved in over the years. Your support and contributions to Community
Players or any of the organizations listed below is most appreciated and
welcome. If there are charitable organizations who you think Community
Players could assist please
Contact Us
and give us their information.

The Crumb Donor

ministry alive, growing and meeting the challenges facing the
hard-living and hard-core people in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The mission of the Chattanooga Urban Ministries Center includes helping
“children of all ages to discover how to live a more joyful and peaceful

holistic approach to developing moral character, which involves
developing self-love, love for others, and love for the community.”
Safe Haven Family Shelter

Our Mission
To empower homeless
families with children to live independently through spiritual,
financial and social guidance
Safe
Haven is the result of two non profits wanting to serve the homeless
families of Nashville more efficiently. Separately, the shelters
existed as Safe Haven Shelter and Nashville Family Shelter. In the
fall of 2003, the decision was made to merge the two, and to serve
9 homeless families at a time. In addition to the shelters, there
are 6 transitional homes, allowing Safe Haven to serve 15 families
throughout Nashville.
The two organizations have provided service to homeless families for
the last twenty years. The merger brought together a team of
professionals to serve the families more efficiently.
St. Luke's
This ministry provides under privileged
families in community the opportunity to provide their children with Christmas
gifts most of us take for granted. Through the financial support they
receive from individuals and groups they purchase toys, clothes, games,
etc., and set up in a "store" where those receiving a voucher my come and
purchase their children gifts for Christmas.
